Good humidity is one of biggest keys to extending your flowers lives and keeping your orchids happy.
In a moss media, water when surface moss begins to turn light colored or roots turn ashy green color. For bark medium increase watering frequency. Less is better when it comes to watering these. If the bottom feels fairly moist, give it a few more days. 10 to 20 days for bigger phals, 5 to 10 days for smaller phals.
For bud/bloom stage we use a bloom fertilizer 6-30-30 at half strength, otherwise balanced fertilizer at half strength every other water.
Repot in the spring every other year when new roots begin to form or medium begins to breakdown.
